After the three races in Italy, the Husqvarna Junior Racing Maddii Team moved to Spain for the 12th GP of the season, a new track built for the occasion just outside Madrid.
Mattia Guadagnini immediately found himself at ease on this new artificial track and in qualifying he scored pole position, an excellent performance for the young Maximilian Spies who took ninth position.
Mattia at the start of race 1 fails to take advantage of his pole position and at the first corner he is second, Guadagnini studied his opponent for a few laps and then passed him and took command of the race up to the checkered flag. Spies finished in eleventh place.
In race 2 it was all about Mattia Guadagnini, the Venetian rider dominated from the first to the last lap, taking home a peremptory victory. Excellent race for Max Spies who finished his moto in ninth place.
Guadagnini wins the race and manages to shorten the gap in the standings, Spies is ninth in the overall of the day.
Marco Maddii: ”A perfect day for Mattia, he is in great shape, he rode really well and he recovered some points in the championship. If he continues with these performances we can play the championship until the end. A great race also for Max who managed to finish in ninth place on a terrain that was not suitable for him. "
