Guadagnini closes an extraordinary season with a podium in the Italian GP.
For the final race of this year, Guadagnini and Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna have decided to ride in the biggest class of the European championship to close the season in front of the Italian crowd. On the powerful 300cc Mattia put on a show at Imola.
In race 1: Mattia started in eighth position and took advantage in the early laps to get a feel for the new bike used on this occasion. Within ten minutes Guadagnini had found a solid pace, began pushing hard and clocked up many fast laps. The rider took the checkered flag in third place becoming the first Italian finisher.
In race 2: Guadagnini did not start well due to a contact at the first corner but likewise proved to be very fast and was able to hold his own against the most experienced riders in the category. He finished fifth and with this result he is third overall in the Italian GP.
Now the team and the riders will take a short two-week break but all are already in the planning for 2019. Special thanks to all the sponsors who supported us over this long season of competitions and training.

Guadagnini chiude una stagione straordinaria con un podio nel Gp d’Italia.
Per l’ultima gara di questo anno, Guadagnini e il Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna hanno deciso di correre nella classe più grande del campionato Europeo per chiudere la stagione davanti al pubblico italiano. Con la potente 300cc Mattia ha dato spettacolo a Imola.
In gara 1: Mattia è partito in ottava posizione e nei primi giri non ha spinto molto per prendere il giusto feeling con la moto nuova usata in questa occasione. Dopo dieci minuti Guadagnini ha trovato un buon ritmo e ha registrato molti giri veloci. Alla bandiera a scacchi è terzo e primo pilota italiano.
In gara 2: Guadagnini non ha avuto una buona partenza a causa di un contatto alla prima curva. Anche in questa manche è stato molto veloce e in grado di guidare come i piloti più esperti di questa categoria. Mattia ha chiuso quinto e con questo risultato è terzo assoluto nel Gp d’Italia.
Adesso la squadra e i piloti prenderanno una piccola pausa di due settimane ma tutti sono già proiettati nel 2019. Un ringraziamento speciale a tutti gli sponsor che ci hanno sostenuto in questa lunga stagione di gare e allenamenti.
