24 e 25 giugno 2017 OTTOBIANO- LOMBARDIA 4° prova del Campionato Europeo classe 125.
Con due secondi posti Facchetti Gianluca si aggiudica la seconda piazza nel Gran Premio D’Italia classe 125 e guadagna punti preziosi in classifica provvisoria.
Siamo quasi giunti a metà campionato ed è in Italia nel sabbioso circuito di Ottobiano che si disputa la quarta prova. Il tipo di terreno è sicuramente più favorevole ai piloti nordici ma la differenza sarà l’allenamento individuale a causa della temperatura più tipica dei tropicali che dell’Italia.
1° manche: Gianluca Facchetti partito in terza posizione termina secondo, un ottimo secondo posto guadagnato con tutto le forze a causa del caldo umido. Anche Alessandro Manucci partito in quinta posizione è stato vittima del caldo ed ha terminato la gara in undicesima posizione. Stessa sorte per Matteo Del Coco che ha terminato in ventisettesima posizione.
Classifica prima manche:1°Haarup Mikkel (Husqvarna) 2° Facchetti Gianluca (Husqvarna) 3°Gifting Isak (Ktm.)
2° manche. La seconda manche in programma la domenica mattina alle 9:45 si è svolta in condizioni climatiche più favorevoli ai nostri ragazzi grazie a un rovescio di pioggia nelle prime ore della mattina. La pista purtroppo molto scavata ha sicuramente favorito i piloti nordici. Facchetti Gianluca parte secondo e solo dopo tre giri assume il comando e lo tiene senza difficoltà fino a cinque giri dal termine quando Haarup lo passa di forza poiché Facchetti soffre un calo fisico ma nonostante ciò tiene duro e termina secondo. Manucci Alessandro e Del Coco Matteo terminano rispettivamente diciannovesimo e ventitreesimo soffrendo molto la gara sia fisicamente sia psicologicamente.
Gianluca Facchetti ha detto: "Peccato avrei potuto vincere il Gran Premio d’Italia ma non mi sono risparmiato, anche se ho preferito mollare e finire la gara per accumulare punti preziosi."
Marco Maddii ha detto: "Gianluca ha fatto il massimo considerando che le sue condizioni fisiche ancora non sono al massimo poiché I suoi valori di ferro nel sangue si stanno alzando lentamente, ma, sicuramente la sua resistenza in gara migliorerà."
Corrado Maddii ha detto: "La pista troppo bucata non ci ha certamente favorito considerando che Gian ancora non è in piena forma, ma il motocross è questo."

With two second places, Facchetti Gianluca obtained the second position in the Grand Prix of Italy class 125 and earns precious points in the provisional standings.
We have reached the half of the Championship and the fourth race took place in Italy in the sandy circuit of Ottobiano. The type of terrain is definitely more favorable to Nordic riders, but the difference will be the individual training due to the high atmospheric temperatures. 1st run: Gianluca Facchetti started third and finished second, a good result earned with all his strength considering the wet heat. Even Alessandro Manucci, who started fifth in the race, was a victim of the heat and finished the race in eleventh position. Same thing for Matteo Del Coco who finished in the 27th position.
First round standings: 1st Haarup Mikkel (Husqvarna) 2nd Gobblings Gianluca (Husqvarna) 3rd Gifting Isak (Ktm.)
2nd round: The second run scheduled on Sunday morning at 9:45 took place in the most favorable weather conditions, but the well-drilled track definitely helped the Nordic riders. Facchetti Gianluca starts second and only after three laps he took the lead without difficulty until five laps from the end. Unfortunately in the last rounds he is passed by Haarup but, despite everything, Facchetti held tight and finished second. Manucci Alessandro and Del Coco Matteo ended respectively nineteenth and twenty-third suffering very much the race both physically and psychologically.
Gianluca Facchetti said: “I could have won the Grand Prix of Italy but I did not spare, though I preferred to give up and finish the race to accumulate valuable points”.
Marco Maddii said: “Gianluca did the maximum considering that his physical condition is still not at its best. He used his head and managed the race at best, I’m very happy with that”.
Corrado Maddii said: “The sloping track did not really favor us considering that Gian is not yet in full shape, but at the end this is motocross”.
