Not an easy weekend for the Fantic Factory Team at the Junior World Championship which took place in Bucharest in Romania, the two 125cc riders Max Werner and Elias Escandell were summoned by their respective countries to take part in this important race.
The two young boys didn't show up to this race at 100% physical condition and the heat didn't help them.
In practice Elias and Max were divided into two groups and both scored the sixth fastest time, a time that boded well for the two race heats.
In race 1 the two riders of the Fantic Factory Team failed to stage a good performance and thanks to several mistakes that cut them out of the fight for the top ranking positions, at the finish line Escandell is 14th and Werner 21st
The second heat sees the two riders improve their performance but due to the heat they were unable to express themselves in the best way, Max Werner finishes in ninth place and Elias Escandell is tenth.
The team is now preparing for the next round in Loket with the 2T European Championship where Cas Valk and Alexis Fueri will take to the track.
Marco Maddii: "Difficult race for our two boys, the heat and their physical conditions not at the top did not give them the opportunity to express themselves as they could, now we focus on the next races."
