ANSK-POLAND September 2nd-3rd 2017 MOTOCROSS OF EUROPEAN NATIONS ITALY OBTAINED THE THIRD POSITION
In Poland, the race of Motocross of Nations was held for European riders. Each nation has deployed six riders divided into the various classes in which they competed in the 2017 season. Italy took part in 125cc class with our Gianluca Facchetti, in the 250cc class with Forato Alberto, in the 85cc class with Pietro Razzini and Andrea Roncoli, and Kiara Fontanesi and Francesca Nocera the two best women in female Motocross.
The light but unremitting rain that had fallen since Friday conditioned Saturday practice and qualifications, while Sunday morning a slight sun made it all easier for the riders and teams. There were four manches in the program: two manches with class 125cc and 250cc together and two manches for the 85cc class.
FIRST MANCHE 125-250cc: Facchetti Gianluca started in twelfth position and in trying to quickly get back in the standing, he was forced to overtake the riders who preceded him in the muddy track. The huge amount of mud though blocked the radiator and this caused a damage to the engine with the resulting retirement of Gianluca from the race.

SECOND MANCHE 125-250 cc: The track was almost dry and this time Gianluca Facchetti started from the gate in first position. He kept the lead for about ten laps, then slipped and restarted and finished the race in fifth place. Thanks to Gianluca's fifth position in the second manche, Italy won the third place behind Denmark and France who won the Trophy.

The performance of other Italian riders was also good. Our other rider Manucci Alessandro run today the Italy-France Trophy on the Paroldo track. Three classes represented with all of our best Italian riders: 125cc 85cc and 65cc. Manucci Alessandro with a first and a third place won the second place on the podium and the Italian team won the Italy-France Trophy.

GDANSK-POLONIA 2-3 settembre 2017 MOTOCROSS DELLE NAZIONI EUROPEO L’ITALIA SI AGGIUDICA IL TERZO GRADINO DEL PODIO
In Polonia si è svolta la gara del Motocross delle Nazioni per i piloti Europei. Ogni nazione ha schierato sei piloti divisi nelle varie cilindrate in cui hanno gareggiato nella stagione 2017. L’Italia si è presentata nella classe 125 con il nostro Gianluca Facchetti, nella classe 250cc con Forato Alberto, nella classe 85cc Pietro Razzini e Andrea Roncoli e Kiara Fontanesi e Francesca Nocera le due migliori donne del Motocross femminile.
La pioggia leggera ma incessante già dal venerdì ha condizionato le prove e le qualifiche del sabato mentre la domenica mattina un leggero sole ha reso tutto più facile per piloti e team. Quattro le manche in programma: due manche con la classe 125 e 250 insieme e due manche per la classe 85cc.
PRIMA MANCHE 125-250cc: Facchetti Gianluca partito in dodicesima posizione nel cercare di rimontare velocemente la classifica è costretto a superare i piloti che lo precedono nelle parti di pista più fangose, ma l’enorme quantità di fango gli ostruisce il radiatore e questo causerà un danno al motore con il conseguente ritiro dalla gara di Gianluca.

SECONDA MANCHE 125-250 cc: la pista è ormai asciutta e questa volta Gianluca Facchetti spunta dal cancello di partenza primo. Tiene il comando per circa dieci giri, poi scivola e riparte in quinta posizione e termina la seconda manche quinto. Grazie alla quinta posizione di Gianluca nella seconda manche L’Italia si aggiudica così il terzo posto dietro a Danimarca e Francia che vince il Trofeo.

Buone anche le prestazioni degli altri piloti Italiani. L’altro nostro pilota Manucci Alessandro ha corso oggi il Trofeo Italia-Francia nella pista di Paroldo. Tre le cilindrate rappresentate 125 cc 85cc e 65 cc con tutti i nostri migliori piloti Italiani. Manucci Alessandro con un primo e un terzo si è aggiudicato il secondo gradino del podio e la squadra Italiana ha vinto il Trofeo Italia-Francia.
