Second consecutive race in Lommel, the rain made the track even more technical and difficult.
Alberto Forato showed excellent speed in qualifying which allowed him to take the tenth place.
In race 1 Alberto fails to have a good exit from the gate but thanks to an extraordinary first lap he immediately moves to eighth position, Forato managed to hold the position for several laps proving he can stay in the group of the best, unfortunately halfway through the race a crash saw him retreat, Alberto with a good comeback ended 15th.
At the start of the second heat Forato got off to a very good start and at the first corner he was seventh, Alberto during the first lap in the section of the wawe crashed violently and got a bad bruise on his back, due to the severe pain he was forced to retire.
Alberto Forato will still be at the start of the race on Sunday and Max Spies will also start with him in the world championship.
