In qualifying for the 125cc World Championship Cas Valk, the new champion of the category, set the third time of his group.
In race 1 an excellent start for Cas who immediately entered second position, Valk demonstrating excellent speed for all 15 laps of the race tried to approach the leader to attempt the attack but did not find the right opening and finished second.
