ESORDIO POSITIVO PER IL TEAM MADDII RACING-HUSQVARNA IN OLANDA IL 23 04 2017 AL CAMPIONATO EUROPEO
La prima gara del Campionato Europeo classe 125 si è svolta nel sabbioso circuito di Valkenswaard in Olanda. Il tracciato tipicamente sabbioso delle piste del nord dell’ Europa ha messo alla prova la preparazione fisica dei piloti e la tecnica di guida su questi tipi di terreno.I nostri piloti Facchetti Gianluca, Manucci Alessandro e Del Coco Matteo si sono ben difesi nelle prove di qualifica del sabato aggiudicandosi rispettivamente nell’ordine, il secondo, il quarto e il settimo tempo di qualifica.
Come prevede il regolamento, la prima manche del Campionato Europeo della classe 125 si è corsa il sabato pomeriggio. Manucci Alessandro parte primo e difende per alcuni giri la posizione ma deve arrendersi all’incalzare dei piloti più a loro agio su questo tipo di terreno e termina in quinta posizione davanti al suo compagno di squadra Facchetti Gianluca.
Facchetti Gianluca fuori dal cancello di partenza è sesto ma dopo soli tre giri è autore di una caduta, risale velocemente in sella ma si trova in undicesima posizione e riesce a risalire fino alla sesta posizione alle spalle del suo compagno di squadra Manucci. Del Coco partito in trentatreesima posizione, non riesce a trovare il ritmo giusto e termina la manche in trentaduesima posizione.
La seconda manche corsa la domenica mattina in una pista molto difficile per i nostri piloti è un ripetersi della manche del sabato. Facchetti Gianluca spunta dal cancelletto di partenza in prima posizione ma alla prima curva è già terzo e termina la gara in quinta posizione . Manucci Alessandro parte terzo ma anche lui deve arrendersi alla superiorità degli avversari e termina in sesta posizione mentre Del Coco Matteo termina la seconda manche in trentatreesima posizione.
Prossima gara il 7 maggio in Lituania a Kegums.
POSITIVE DEBUT FOR THE TEAM MADDII RACING-HUSQVARNA IN THE NETHERLANDS ON APRIL 23RD 2017 AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIOSHIP
The first race of the 125 cc European Championship took place in the sandy Valkenswaard circuit in Holland. The typically sandy track of the northern European circuits has physically tested our riders’ training and their riding technique on these types of coil. Our riders Facchetti Gianluca, Manucci Alessandro and Del Coco Matteo did good in the Saturday qualifying, and they respectively obteined the second, fourth and seventh qualifying time.
According to the regulations, the first manche of the 125cc European Championship took place on Saturday afternoon. Manucci Alessandro started first and kept the position for some laps but he had to surrender to the lurking of the most comfortable riders on this type of coil and he eventually ended in fifth place in front of his teammate Facchetti Gianluca.
Facchetti Gianluca was sixth out of the starting gate, but after only three laps he had been the author of a crash. He got back fast on the bike but he found himself in twelfth position and managed to climb up to 6th place after his teammate Manucci. Del Coco Matteo started in thirty-third position, but he could not find the right pace and he finished in the thirty-second position.
The second manche run on Sunday morning on a very difficult track for our riders was the repeat of Saturday’s race. Gianluca Facchetti started from the starting gate in the first position but he was already third at the first corner and ended the race in fifth place. Manucci Alessandro started third, but he had to give in to the opponents’ superiority and finished in sixth position while Del Coco Matteo finished the second run in thirty-third position.
Next race will be on May 7th in Lithuania at Kegums.
