We have reached the penultimate race for the 250 2T European Championship which will be held on the Arco di Trento track, the hard surface characteristic of the circuit has been enriched with some areas of reported sand that make the track of the “Ciclamino” even more technical.
The Husqvarna Junior Racing Maddii Team ranks Eugenio Barbaglia and Federico Tuani respectively second and third in the championship and the returning Pietro Salina.
Federico Tuani achieved an excellent performance in qualifying, setting the sixth fastest time overall, Eugenio Barbaglia 11th and Salina 19th. At the start of race 1 Federico is exceptional at the start and takes the “holeshot” home, Tuani however in the first corners makes a small mistake losing the leadership. Thanks to an excellent pace and showing good speed, he finished in third place. Barbaglia after a good start, perhaps due to the pressure to do well to maintain his position in the championship, make a mistake and at the finish line he is ninth. Pietro Salina closes in 17th. In race 2 it was not an easy start for Tuani who was only sixth in the first lap, Federico did not lose heart and with a good comeback he conquered the fourth place. Unfortunately Eugenio crashed at the start and restarted in last position but managed to take home a point. Salina 18°.
Thanks to the two excellent results Federico Tuani climbs on the third step of the podium and conquers the second position in the championship.
