In the beautiful location of Riola Sardo, the first round of the International Mx of Italy was staged, the sun and the spring climate were the backdrop for a great day of sport.
Mattia Guadagnini brought his Husqvarna Fc 250 to the debut where in the qualifying practice he got the best time, good performance of Spies with the eighth time in group 1. The two young riders Tuani and Barbaglia riding the 250 2t they got 18th and 21st place.
At the start of the MX2 race, Mattia started very well by joining the leading group, with a good progression he reached the third place, unfortunately due to arms pump he had to raise the pace by closing the heat in fourth position. Spies thanks at a good pace he got the 16th place, Federico Tuani with a constant heat ended 18th qualifying for the superfinal. Barbaglia closed 31st.
In the premier class Alberto Forato was immediately at ease on the sand with the 450, going to mark the 7th absolute time on his debut in the MX1. At the start of the race Alberto showed that he knew how to be with the strongest, Forato managed to stay ahead of pilots with experience in the MX1 and at the finish he passed in seventh place.
In the Supercampione Mattia did not manage to have a good start losing a lot of positions, but with a good pace he recovered up to the 13th position and fifth among the Mx2.
Alberto Forato once again put all his determination into the field, proving his speed, he closed in eighth position.
Next race on 2 February in Ottobiano for the second stage of the Internazionali d’Italia.

Alberto in Mx1 has lapped strong being in front of some factory riders and as a first race we can’t ask for more. Two excellent heats for Spies considering his young age, good Tuani who has shown his growth since last year, Barbaglia too manymistakes. “
Nella bellissima location di Riola Sardo è andata in scena la prima prova degli Internazionali d’Italia, il sole e il clima primaverile hanno fatto da sfondo ad una grandissima giornata di sport.
Mattia Guadagnini ha portato al debutto la sua Husqvarna Fc 250 dove nelle prove di qualifica ha ottenuto il miglior tempo, buona performance per Spies con l’ottavo tempo nel gruppo 1. I due giovani piloti Tuani e Barbaglia in sella alla 250 2t hanno ottenuto il 18° e il 21° posto. Al via della manche MX2 Mattia è partito molto bene inserendosi nel gruppo di testa, con una buona progressione è arrivato fino al terzo posto, purtroppo a causa dell’indurimento delle braccia ha dovuto alzare il ritmo chiudendo la gara in quarta posizione. Spies grazie ad un buon ritmo ha ottenuto il 16° posto, Federico Tuani con una manche constante ha concluso 18° qualificandosi per la superfinale. Barbaglia ha chiuso 31°.
Nella classe regina Alberto Forato si è trovato subito a suo agio sulla sabbia con la 450 andando a far segnare il 7° tempo assoluto al debutto nella Mx1.
Al via della gara Alberto ha dimostrato di saper stare con i più forti, Forato è riuscito a stare davanti a piloti con esperienza nella Mx1 e al traguardo è transitato in settima piazza.
Nella Supercampione Mattia non è riuscito ad avere una buona partenza perdendo molto posizioni, ma con un buon passo ha recuperato fino alla 13° posizione e quinto tra le Mx2.
Alberto Forato ha messo in campo tutta la sua grinta dando ancora una volta prova della sua velocità e ha chiuso in ottava posizione.
Prossimo appuntamento il 2 febbraio ad Ottobiano per la seconda tappa degli Internazionali d’Italia.
Marco Maddii Team Manager: ”Gara positiva e siamo molto contenti, anche se la prestazione a livello assoluto poteva essere migliore, Mattia ha fatto segnare il miglior tempo in qualifica e fino a quando non gli si sono irrigidite le braccia a tenuto il ritmo di piloti che fanno il mondiale Mx2 da diverse stagioni, peccato per l’errore in partenza nella Superfinale ma ha guidato veramente bene. Alberto in Mx1 ha girato forte stando davanti anche a qualche pilota ufficiale e come prima gara non gli si può chiedere di più. Due ottime manche per Spies considerando la sua giovane età, bravo Tuani che ha dimostrato la sua crescita dallo scorso anno, Barbaglia qualche errore di troppo.”
