In the time practice of the Elite class, the Mx2 takes to the track together with the Mx1, Mattia Guadagnini is among the protagonists and thanks to an excellent performance he gets the second absolute time. On the Castiglione del Lago track during the night a strong storm made the track even more technical and difficult.
In race 1 Mattia manages to start very well by entering the leading group, thanks to an excellent pace he managed to climb the rankings, finishing in third place overall and first in Mx2.
In the second heat Guadagnini once again showed all his worth and with an all attacking race he finished in fifth place and first of mx2 class. Thanks to the two excellent results, Mattia wins the MX2 overall and takes the lead in the championship.
In the Fast Mx2, Barbaglia and Tuani got a good placement in qualifying that bode well for an excellent result in the race. Eugenio Barbaglia in the first moto he obtained a good result that saw him cross the finish line in seventh position with Tuani twelfth. In race 2 Barbaglia showed great speed, Eugenio was in contention for the victory until three laps from the end when a crash relegated him to third position, Federico Tuani closes 13th. In the standings of the day Barbaglia, thanks to the two excellent results, conquered the fifth place.
Marco Maddii comments on the race as follows: ”We are very satisfied with the performance of our boys, with Mattia we finally found a way to start among the first, Guadagnini showed great speed. Too bad for Barbaglia who would have won race two if it wasn't for a crash, Tuani never managed to find the right feeling with the track. We go home after this race, knowing that we will be in Faenza ready for the world championship. "
