Italian MX Junior 125 Championship - Ottobiano -12.09.2021
Last appointment with the Adac 2021 Championship which took place on the Reutlingen track, at this last appointment there were numerous riders from the European and World Championships.
In time practice Max Spies obtained the eighth time in his group which allowed him to line up in the center of the group behind the starting gate.
In the three heats disputed, the young German talent of Marco Maddii performed well, always increasing, thanks to a seventh place in race 1 and two sixth places in the second and third heat he obtained the sixth final position in the day's standings.
Unfortunately for Max the possibility of taking home the title by just 9 points behind the winner fades in the last round, but if you think about the young age of the Fantic team rider it is an excellent result in view of the future of this talent.
On the same Sunday the Fantic Factory Team Maddii was also busy on the sand of Ottobiano for the last appointment with the Italian Junior 125 class Championship with Nicola Salvini.
Salvini on the Ottobiano International track was immediately at ease together with his Fantic XX 125, Nicola obtains the second best performance in his group.
In race 1 Salvini fails to be incisive and ends in fifth place, but it is in the second heat that he shows his talent and his speed, finishing in second place.
With the two results obtained he is third of the day and ends the championship on the lowest step of the podium.
Marco Maddii comments on the race as follows: "The team split to better support our boys engaged in the finals of their national championships and we are happy with the result they achieved, Max lost the championship by a handful of points but managed to be in front of much more experienced riders racing in the World Championship, Nicola has shown that he has perfectly integrated with our team and his new bike, important races are still waiting for us and we are ready to work to continue improving. "
