Seventeen-year-old Raf Meuwissen is one of the best Dutch motocross promises.
Meuwissen is part of a special program of the KNMV federation based in the Olympic topsport Centre Papendal.
“I’m happy to start a new adventure with a team in Italy, – said Raf after the agreement with Team Maddii – it’s a good chance to refine my riding style and the setting of my bike. Working with Corrado and Marco will be fundamental to my professional growth because they have so much experience accumulated over many years of competitions and victories. I can not wait to start.”
Corrado Maddii said: “With Raf we have the opportunity to gain more experience with young talents even outside Italy. I think we can form a good trio with Guadagnini and Forato, who can grow together and help each other.”
Marco Maddii is also very satisfied: “I believe in Raf because he works very hard and does all he has to do to become a great rider. He is young but he is ready to go on the Husqvarna 250 fc because he is physically strong. I will do my best to let him feel like at home on our team.”
Next year Raf will race with Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna in the European Championship EMX250, Dutch Masters, International of Italy and Italian Championship.
