GIANLUCA FACCHETTI SI AGGIUDICA IL SECONDO POSTO NEL GRAN PREMIO DI FRANCIA

Nelle verdeggianti colline di Ernee in Francia si è svolta la terza prova del Campionato europeo classe 125. Il Team Maddii Racing-Husqvarna ha dovuto affrontare una trasferta non proprio semplice a causa di un malore accorso al padre del nostro pilota Manucci Alessandro all’arrivo nel circuito il venerdì mattina. Un tracciato argilloso e pieno di canali ha messo alla prova le capacità di guida dei nostri tre piloti. Gianluca Facchetti, ancora non in piena forma fisica a causa di un abbassamento del ferro nel sangue si è ben difeso nelle prove di qualifica aggiudicandosi il quarto tempo. Alessandro Manucci il tredicesimo tempo e Matteo del Coco l’ottava posizione nella manche di recupero.
Come da programma la prima manche si corre il sabato. Gianluca Facchetti spunta dal cancello primo ma per un errore alla prima curva transita in quinta posizione. Rimonta fino a essere secondo ed ha anche la possibilità di passare in testa ma un errore in un doppiaggio è fatale, cade, riparte subito ma terminerà in terza posizione. Alessandro Manucci in seguito ai tempi della mattina va al cancello di partenza in ventiquattresima posizione e ciò comprometterà la sua partenza e terminerà tredicesimo. Matteo del Coco partito male ce la mette tutta ma nonostante l’impegno non riesce a entrare in zona punti.
Seconda manche: il terzo posto del sabato di Gianluca Facchetti aveva lasciato l’amaro in bocca al pilota e anche a Marco e Corrado Maddii. La domenica mattina sono tutti ancora più determinati alla rivincita. Grazie ad un buon lavoro di squadra e alla determinazione di Gianluca, arriva la prima vittoria di manche di questa stagione 2017 nel Campionato Europeo. Partito in quarta posizione nel corso del quinto giro passa in testa e senza fatica tiene il comando della gara fino al traguardo, dove ad aspettarlo c’è tutto il Team Maddii in festa. Alessandro Manucci, complice anche il fatto di avere il padre in Ospedale a causa del malore del venerdì non è riuscito a esprimere il suo potenziale e si è dovuto accontentare della tredicesima posizione. Matteo Del Coco anche in questa seconda manche non è riuscito a trovare il passo giusto e termina la gara ma fuori zona punti, ma sta lavorando sodo e i risultati crediamo che arriveranno presto.
Gianluca Facchetti a fine gara ha detto: “Sono contento di questa seconda manche e mi dispiace per la prima gara perché avrei potuto vincere il gran premio ma un secondo posto per il momento va bene.”

GIANLUCA FACCHETTI OBTAINED THE SECOND PLACE IN THE FRENCH GRAND PRIX

The third race of the 125cc European Championship took place on the verdant hills of Ernee, in France.
The Maddii Racing-Husquarna Team had to face a not easy beginning due to a sudden illness of our rider Alessandro Manucci’s father at the arrival on the circuit on Friday morning.
A clavy and full of channels track challenged the driving skills of our three riders. Gianluca Facchetti, still not in full physical shape due to a lowering of iron in his blood, defended his position pretty well in the qualifying obtaining the fourth place. Alessandro Manucci obtained the thirteenth place and Matteo Del Coco the eighth in the recovery manche.
According to the schedule, the first manche took place on Saturday. Gianluca Facchetti started first but due to a mistake on the first corner, he passed in fifth position. He got back on second position and had also the chance to pass in front but a mistake on the overtaking was fatal as he crashed, started right away and ended in third position. Alessandro Manucci after his qualifying time of the morning arrived at the starting gate in twenty-fourth position. This compromised his race and he ended in thirteenth. Matteo Del Coco after a bad start ended his race out of the points area despite all his efforts.
Second manche: Gianluca Facchetti’s third place on Saturday did not fully satisfied the rider, neither Marco nor Corrado Maddii. On Sunday morning they were all even more determined to win. Thanks to the good teamwork and Gianluca’s determination, the first win on a manche of this 2017 season in the European Championship arrived. Gianluca started in fourth position but on the fourth lap he got the lead which he maintained until the finish line where he found all the Maddii Team waiting for him. Alessandro Manucci, who was also anxious to have his father at the hospital because of the sudden illness he suffered on Friday did not express his potential and had to settle for the thirteenth position. Matteo Del Coco also in this second manche failed to find the right pace and ended the race out of the points zone. He is working hard and we believe the results will arrive soon.
Gianluca Facchetti at the end of the race said: “I am happy with this second manche. I am sorry for the first one as I could have won the Grand Prix but for the moment the second place is fine”.
