Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna, Lommel 4-5 August, sixth round emx125.
The young Italian confirms that he is a complete rider winning on the heavy sand of Lommel, one of the most difficult tracks in the world. After the victory in Germany in the hardpack, in France with the mud, Guadagnini shows that it can be fast even in the sand.
In the qualifying session the Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna rider got a great second place. From the beginning Mattia had a great feeling with the Belgian track.
Race 1: Guadagnini started second but after a few corners took the lead of the race and led the group for 15 minutes. In the last part of the race, due to some lap riders he lost some ground and was passed by the Frenchman Benissant. Until the last corner Guadagnini and Benissant fought hard but Mattia was unable to get back to the first position and so ended in second place.
Race 2: This time Mattia was very determined to win. After a good start in second position he took the lead throughout the race and won the race and the overall classification. Result that brings Guadagnini in third position in the European 125 championship.
Unfortunately, his teammates suffered a lot the sand and did not hit the final.
The next event will be in Switzerland for the 7th round of the 125 and 250 European Championship on 18-19 August.

Il giovane italiano conferma di essere un pilota completo vincendo sulla sabbia pesante di Lommel, una delle piste più difficili del mondo.Dopo la vittoria in Germania nel terreno duro, in Francia con il fango, Guadagnini dimostra che può essere veloce anche nella sabbia.
Nella sessione di qualifiche il pilota del Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna ha ottenuto un ottimo secondo posto. Fin dall’inizio Mattia ha avuto un ottimo feeling con la pista Belga.
Gara 1: Guadagnini è partito secondo ma dopo poche curve ha preso il comando della gara e guidato il gruppo per 15 minuti. Nell’ultima parte della gara, a causa di alcuni doppiati ha perso un po ‘di terreno ed è stato passato dal francese Benissant. Fino all’ultima curva Guadagnini e Benissant hanno combattuto duramente ma Mattia non è riuscito a riprendere la prima posizione e così finisce la manche secondo.
Gara 2: Questa volta Mattia era molto determinato a vincere. Dopo una buona partenza in seconda posizione ha preso il comando per tutta la gara e ha vinto sia la manche che la classifica di giornata. Risultato che porta Guadagnini in terza posizione nel campionato Europeo 125. Purtroppo i suoi compagni di squadra hanno sofferto molto la sabbia e non hanno centrato la finale.
Il prossimo appuntamento sarà in Svizzera per il 7° round del Campionato Europeo 125 e 250 il 18-19 agosto.
