The last round of the season for the Fantic Factory Team Maddii is the prestigious race of the Nations trophy that took place on the beautiful Red Bud track in the USA.
The Fantic team lined up alongside its two riders who took to the track for Norway, Cornelius Tondel in MXGP riding the Fantic XXF 450 and Hakon Osterhagen in MX2 with the Fantic XX 250.
On the first day the drivers took to the track divided by class to look for the best performance to qualify the national team at the best gate for the three Sunday heats.
The first to take to the track was Cornelius Tondel in MXGP and thanks to an excellent performance in the premier class he finished with an exceptional eleventh place. During the heat reserved for the Open class, Hakon Osterhagen made a mistake and was forced to retire.
Thanks to the results of the three drivers, Norway qualified with 12th place.
The first race on Sunday saw MXGP and MX2, Cornelius Tondel after a difficult start showed a good comeback that gave him the opportunity to recover but in the middle of the race a mistake made him lose several positions he had recovered . Tondel finished in 22nd place.
In race 2 reserved for the Open with Mx2 Osterhagen after a shrewd start trying not to make mistakes he was around the twentieth position for most of the heat and then closed 25th.
The last race of the day saw the two Fantic drivers racing together, the two Fantic drivers with a good heat trying to find the right pace with their 4T, the two drivers who ran all season with the 250 2Ts only had a race to prepare for the new displacements, they finished with the 24th Tondel and the 27th Osterhagen.
A long season ends where the Fantic Factory Team Maddii has once again achieved great goals and work is already underway for next season.
